Our apartment "Il Frantoio 1" - max. 3 persons
The holiday apartment (47 square meters) is on the ground floor in the back part of our house which faces the beautiful garden and with direct access to it. The apartment has a seperate entrance and there is parking space in front of the house. In front of the entrance you will find a covered pergola with a large table, benches and a gas-fired barbecue for your cooking.
Furnishing
The large room is divided into a sleeping area with a double bed (width: 160 cm, the upper part of the slatted frame can be adjusted in height). There are two large wardrobes as well as a cosy and well-lit reading area with two armchairs. There is an open fireplace and a well-designed kitchen and dining area with a big table and four chairs.
Old ceiling beams made of chestnut wood and the floor of red terracotta tiles create a cosy atmosphere in the large apartment and keep it pleasantly cool in the summer months.
There is free access to the Internet.
The Kitchen
In the cooking area there is a fridge with a freezing compartment, a gas stove (with four hobs) and an extractor hood as well as an electric baking oven. There are plenty of cooking utensils of good quality. Of course, a toaster, a coffee percolator and an electric mixer are also provided.
The Bathroom
In the white-tiled bathroom there is a toilet, shower, a bidet and a washbasin and, of course, running hot and cold water. There is ample storage space.
Outside
Our guests are free to use our large garden with its lawn and deckchairs for sun-bathing. There are also flowerbeds and herbs. It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your mediterranean meals. At the back of our garden there is a small swimming pool (6.10 m x 3.75 m) which can be used from 15th June to the 15th September. From here you have a fantastic view of the lovely hilly Tuscan countryside.
What else might be worth knowing
In former times our house was an oil mill. When converting it, we made an effort to maintain the character of the house; in particular we preserved the beautiful red brick arches.
