Tips for your holiday in Tuscany
- Go on an organized night walk from Reggello to the abbey La Verna in honour of Holy St. Francis (57km); of course, it is also possible to walk only part of the way (at the beginning of October)
- Take part in one of the free guided walks which are organized every fortnight on Sundays by the local hiking group (sometimes there is a small charge for refreshments)
- Visit our beautiful cemetery "cimitero monumentale delle porte sante" and stroll along the cypress alleys leading to many graveyard chapels and enjoy the peace and quiet.
- Take part in a painting course taught in german, english and italian by the German-Italian artist Birgit Hermeling (7km - it can be booked on a daily basis)
- Visit one of the largest antique fairs in Italy in Arezzo (every first weekend of the month)
- Treat yourself to a bus excursion with the local bus company and go to the "Infiorata di Spello" - a traditional, religious Corpus Christi festival - several kilometers of the main street of Spello are decorated with petals during the night of Saturday and Sunday. You should not miss this event (155km).
- Relax in our beautiful garden and listen to the chirping birds (and to the nightingale singing in the dark!)
